Cathy draws on her prior corporate and life
experiences and uses her sense of humor,
warm spirit, and empathy to motivate and
guide her clients. She is passionate about
helping others realize that one of the most
empowering things about this life we are
given is that it’s never too late to make a
change…to make our lives “happen”!
With a degree in Human Resources Management,

wanted to be “when she grew up”. However,

coaching and through the process realized
how powerful making conscious decisions can
be. Now, as she is making her life happen,
she wants to help others realize that they
do not have to continue to just “go through
the motions”. They can live positive,
fulfilling lives.

A Message from Mike
I formed Jaffe Life Design, LLC
after spending more than 15 years as a Marketer in
various capacities, from Fortune 500 firms to an
internet startup to consulting. In 2001, an airplane
crashed into the floor I worked on in the 96th floor of
the North Tower of the World Trade Center. However, I
was still in the subway en route to my office after
deciding the day before to go into work a few minutes
late that day so I could have breakfast in my new home
with my wife and one year old daughter.
I learned many important lessons
from that horrible event. For instance, that life is a
very precious gift and every single day counts! I never
leave the house without kissing my wife and kids and
telling them I love them no matter how early in the
morning it is. It also awakened me to the fact that
there was something else I needed in my career and life
to give me a deeper sense of satisfaction; something I
could link to service or giving to others. I just didn't
have a clue what that was and I didn't know what
direction to head in, so...I did nothing.
More than a year later, during a
very innocent conversation with a friend, she told me
that I would make a great “life coach.” I didn't know
what a certified life coach was at the time but it sounded
intriguing because I knew I had loved coaching and
mentoring others for my entire life; I just didn't know
there was a formal job and career that existed in doing
so. After doing extensive reading and research a whole
new world opened up to me that I didn’t even know
existed. I started training to be a certified life coach and even took
on a few friends as my "guinea pig" clients on the side.
After receiving my certification I left my Corporate job
and started Jaffe Life Design on a full time basis.
Now that I see the impact this
work has on the lives of others, I know I made the right
choice. It’s uplifting to witness clients discover
things about themselves that they didn't even know
existed; seeing them develop tools that help them
design, create and live the life and career they truly
want. For me, sharing my energy and passion to
positively affect another person in a profound way tells
me one thing - there is nothing that I would rather be
doing!
I wish you peace, satisfaction and
joy in every aspect of your life.
