The Business Team Coaching program is an
integrated approach to working with teams around specific business objectives. Team
Coaching works in principle very much like individual
coaching. The main difference is that we help teams more
fully tap into their potential by raising their
awareness of their own strengths and weaknesses and
helping them develop more effective team practices and
strategies.
A Team Coaching program is tailored to your specific
needs. Typically it consists of the following steps:
- Meet with the team to kick off the
process
- Interview each team member to
identify strengths and weaknesses of the
team's performance and capabilities
- Interview and/or survey other
stakeholders (e.g., managers, direct
reports, peers, clients)
- Evaluate interview and survey data
and prepare a report for the team
- Feed back the report to the team as
part of a team offsite session that
includes evaluating and understanding
the assessment, identifying desired
areas to develop and establishing plans
to make effective changes to the team
- Deliver a roll-up report to the team
from the offsite
Optional:
- Provide follow-up coaching to the
team and/or team leader to support team
development needs and ensure changes
remain effective and sustainable.
- Provide change management services
to support significant team projects.
The coach meets with each member of the
team. The team is observed in action and
the members are introduced to the
business team coaching program.
