Webinar Marketing: Sight,
Sound, Profit!
With Mike Jaffe and Gail Z. Martin
Whether you’re new to distance learning
or a pro at teleseminars, adding the video
component of webinars can be daunting at
first. Webinars are growing in popularity
because they add another level of
interaction, making it possible to share
slide presentations in real time along with
real-time chat for Q&A.
In this five-part series, Mike and Gail
will share their experience with webinars to
help you identify the marketing potential
for your business and understand the basics
of creating a successful webinar program.
Session 1: Discovering Webinars.
Find out what makes a webinar different from
a teleseminar, why webinars are becoming so
popular and how technology makes webinars
possible even for solo professionals.
Session 2: Charting Your Course.
Gail and Mike lead you through the thought
process behind developing a webinar course
and integrating slide shows, handouts,
polling questions, seed questions, visuals
and more!
Session 3: Behind the Scenes.
Discover what goes on out of sight of
webinar participants and find out how to
handle a webinar in progress. We’ll talk
about public and private chat, polling,
using a moderator/facilitator, and cool
webinar features like pointers. Mike and
Gail will also talk about options for audio
and recording and how to deal with
invitations and log ins.
Session 4: Transitioning Your Existing
Program to be a Webinar. Mike and Gail
will help you through the process of
adapting your in-person or teleclass format
for webinars. That means thinking about both
audio and visual. We’ll share the secrets to
spicing up boring slide shows, and cover how
to integrate handouts, maximize the
moderator and make creative use of polling
questions and chat. We’ll share the six most
essential key ingredients for a successful
webinar, plus the five most effective ways
to promote your program.
Session 5: Choosing a Webinar Platform.
Mike and Gail will talk you through the
options, price ranges, pros/cons, platform
choices, gotchas and issues with a healthy
dose of their own ‘lessons learned.’ This
includes a live demo so you see just what
we’re talking about!

"The Momference was a great idea. It was very
informative and covered a lot of interesting topics... I
loved the PowerPoint presentations that follow along
online. Very good tactic for visual learners. Also, the
ability to ask questions online was awesome as well!
GREAT IDEA MOMFERENCE CREW!!!!”
“Thank you for putting on a week of online workshops to

like myself have of attending something like this! 2
thumbs way up to the organizers of this event!"
